Dear Patients and Families of the Devon Orthodontics Community,
Our commitment to protecting patient health and safety is held to the highest degree in our power. To this end, we are joining in the collective effort of battling COVID-19 by encouraging patients to continue following social distancing protocols along with our office protocols to keep you and all others safe. We embrace our role as orthodontic providers equally as much as members of society, and we recognize the responsibility it takes on both ends.
Are we seeing routine patients again?
Yes, we are happily seeing patients again. Rest assured, our team continues to uphold extraordinary and appropriate measures to protect all those within the Devon Orthodontics Community, all while being mindful of the resources we consume that are also needed by our allied healthcare providers on the frontline.
Now that we are in phase green, we are able to see all appointment types, but with diligence. Please see a summary of our current precautions below.
What are the steps our office is taking to minimize the risk of transmission?
**All patients are to wear a mask at all times unless instructed otherwise by the doctor in the treatment chair.
**All staff members are wearing masks at all times. Staff temperatures are taken daily.
**All patients are to complete a health questionnaire confiming they have experienced no symptoms of
COVID-19 before entering the office for each appointment.
**We provide a virtual waiting room - this means that once you have arrived in the parking lot, please call
the office to let us know before you come in so we can minimize occupancy of our facility.
**We are disinfecting all surfaces between each patient, and many more times throughout the day with
a high-grade disinfectant. We aim to keep windows open (weather permitting) to keep the office well ventilated
and free from any odor caused by the cleaning products.
**Social distancing guidelines are still in effect - there are no more than four patients every hour, and we have decreased
contact by keeping patients spread out, never less than a chair apart unless from the same household.
If there are any extra precautions we are able to take to make you feel more comfortable, we are happy to accomodate in any way we can.
Our goal is to make your visit to our office a safe and pleasant experience.
